iriverter problem

When I try to open it it says: an unhandled exception occurred the program will close.

what is this?

this same exact thing happened to me...

and according to what i've tried and ran into...

your computer can't use iriverter anymore.

i think it is because the profile files turned into some kind of different type of file. I have tried, but failed many times at trying to fix this problem.

if you do end up fixing it, please tell me how you did it

Try using the control panel through add/remove programs, remove iriverter and install it again either with the same version or an earlier version.

i just used iriverter 0.17, it works great, even though its a little slower, you should try it.

and Mattman, that method doesn't work. even when it's reinstalled the file types are still jacked up.

Did you try a different version?

i just tried 0.17, and the java works, but i have no clue on how to add more profiles...

i tried the normal iriverter that was in the 0.17 installation, and the same "unhandled exception" occured...

You got some fu**ed up settings.Same thing happened to me once.
I fixed with:
1. Uninstall iReverter
2. Remove the settings it leaves behind: "C:\Documents and Settings\<your user name here>\.iriverter.con f"
3. Install iReverter again
