Smile I made a (clix) platform game - download!

Hi, I thought I would post my platform game I made for clix only. At the moment it is unfinished though . It is called Mr Blobs Journey (creative isnt it!) It is my first game and I believe the only platform game for clix!

Anyway, download, test and play. Tell me what you think (remember it's unfinished).

Later I will add more levels and improve gui. press <up> to start jump is <down>, to move right/left while jumping press <down> then right/left not right/left first.

The object is to get to the spiral porthole in the corner and avoid the moving spike on level 2.

Enjoy!

A little rough but it works. I completed both levels. It was a little hard to determine how to move up the sides of the walls.

It appears that some of the blocks are not lined up with the underlying wall grid. For example, jumping on the first block on the right, you have to make sure you land on the right side of the block or you fall through the block and cannot see "mr blobs". There are a number of these kinds of problems on the 1st level.

What development environment did you use to create this game?

There is no underlying wall grid, I used a hitTest to detect if the player is in contact with the ground
I will add more levels gradualy increasing in difficulty and in later versions I will include instructions to explain about holing <down> to go up through long blocks etc. I had noticed that sometimes you can fall through blocks and I dont know how to fix this, and have noticed the same problem in many flash platformers. Developement enviroment? Not sure what you mean by that, I only used flash and some basic actionscript.

Thanks, I am working on a better gui, more levels and enemies. This version was just a test.
