Flash Game :: Jump

Hello everyone,

I just finished school so I have a few more hours to spare haha. Well I was fiddling with the Flash 2.1 and I decided to make a game for the Clix.

It's a bit hard, because the control are respectively <up> and <down>, and your mind has to keep in mind 2 objects, but good luck

thats actually a really clever game for something so basic... most of the games Ive seen for clix are so boring I would rather stick pins in my eyes but this really shows that you are thinking outside the square. Having to concentrate on two things at once really works your brain.

The only problem Ive seen so far is when you have to jump both at the same time... the instinct is to press both sides at once... which of course causes problems.

Hi, I am reasonably new to this forum, and have flash 8 pro and I was wondering if you could put up the .fla file so I could have a fidle? Dont wory I would keep you in the credits etc. Great game, but I was thinking of changing some graphics or controls, mabe add music.

thanks for the update, but I actually like the old one better. It runs at a better framerate and it's harder and takes more concentration.

mm I agree. The two-on-two format was much more challenging. The frame rate is definitely an issue I hope to fix.

Perhaps if more people seem to take this side, I'll go back to the two on two idea. Any other suggestions? I have all winter break. haha

Hi, I like the new version of the game to, but one sugestion is to have both games in one file to be selected between with a menue option. Also if you are worying about presing two buttons at once, you could use volume buttons? Also I dont know how the game engine works, but so you dont have to program each level/speed, it could be random. Just sugestions though. Great game to!

Hi, noticed a bug with the speed up over trampoline, when got instead of disapearing it moves to the left? Strange. It's the only bug I noticed though. Still think it's a good game.

Thank you all for all you suggestions and great feed back! I'll work on the game. I'll add a version splitter, so you can play a one ball mode and 2 ball mode for those with preferences.

As for the volume keys, I'm having a bit of a trouble implementing them, but I'll try my best thanks again.

excellent game

and i can give an advice about the controls. it would be better if we could use left and right controls instead of up-down. it is a bit harder while using up-down controls.

thanks for the nice comments, I'm working on a option for controls, but it'll take a while. Right now I'm creating a slightly different aspect for the game. expect a new version soon!
