Loose cable

Hi!
Today something weird happened with my clix. The wire for my earphones got messed up. My left eat headphone doesn't work sometimes now. When i press on the tip of the wire or mve it around a bit, then sometimes my left earphone works again. Seems like a wire is loose or anything. I have no idea what ot do. I just purchased by 2 gb clix a month ago. SO obviously it is sitll under warranty. I live in Canada so do i have to pay shipping and customs to send it to iriver!

Right now i have the wire stretched and tape to the back of the clix so that the left earphone works as well but obviously it's not a good solution to the problem. I need help!!!

Email this to iriver about getting new firmware for the clix. They will probably take ideas for their new players too so it's better to tell them what needs to be improved before releasing a new player.

Er, I wouldn't waste your time sending back the clix just to fix headphones. Its less of a hassle to just buy new ones. The warrenty is more for the clix itself anyway.

You could send it back, but i believe that the shipping is going to cost more than buying a new earbud in most cases. I think buying a new headphone will be a much wiser choice, considering some of the really good headphone costs not much these day. I recommend a pair of Sennheiser MX50 for replacement if you decided not to send back.

i had the same problem with the buds that came with my last 2 irivers, i even used tape to fix it. Now ive got Shure E2Cs - better SQ than the stock buds plus a 2 year warranty.
