Update on my iMP-900 :-)

So after over a year of trouble and several months of sending this unit back & fourth to/from iRiver America, the random skipping issue is finally fixed.

I received the unit back for the second time from iRiver on 2006-02-02 and notice a new firmware version is on their site, 1.31. Perhaps I was the one who finally got them to fix the problem, after continuously bugging them about it since October 2005 (I sent the unit to them then and they only sent it back to be unfixed in November)? The firmware seems to have been uploaded on 2006-01-19.

What does everyone here think? It's finally nice to know my 180+ USD in December 2004 didn't go to waste.

During the time my iMP-900 was at iRiver, and most of 2005 prior to that, I was still using my iMP-550, though with the iMP-900's remote.
