That depends heavily on the chassis used.
If it's well under the spec needed for SACD units - the answer is kinda likely to be no.. The laser is another matter, as i think SACD uses dual layering like dvd does. The capability of the processor used, as far as decoding/demxing is concerned is another issue still (and assuming the potential is there, thi part would be a firmware thingy). i dont think there are any CDP's that support SACD, let alone any CA-type CDP's, so the probability is kinda looking like the probability of pigs becoming airworthy and flight cleared...

well, i'm not too up on tbe hardware needs for SACD and what differences are in the encoding on SACD etc.
It kinda crept up me, sinc most SACD decks were audiophile stuff back in the early days, so zero interest to us mere mortals. So, go do some research and give the whole matter of requirements v hardwar limits a bit of chewing over. i figure, not likely to happen - SACD support until a real worked over newbie iMP comes along.
