Ifp-999 Scan Speed & Bookmark
How fast can you scan through a song, or a long book? Pretty fast? 8x 16x?
I don't know why I-River refyuses to support Audible.com format... Or does the 999 have a bookmark feature so you can save your position in a long file? Thanks, Drew |

The FF/RW scan speed is 1X, 2X, 4X, 6X (you choose 1 from the settings).
All iRiver iFP products currently do not support Audible.com format. The 999, I believe, has a resume feature (for the last song) but not a bookmarking feature. |

I know this involves some extra steps but if you download a book you'll want to put it on CD anyway. They can take up a lok of hard drive space and you could loose them if the drive crashes. |
