Love my iFP799, use it almost every day for a few years.
Yesterday, I plugged it in to swap in some new eMusic tracks, and Windows XP no longer recognizes it. I get a generic "cannot use USB device" error. Tried a few different USB cables, also tried plugging it into a few different Windows XP machines (each of which I've used with this iFP799 before). Plugged it into a Linux box so I could get something other than Windows obtuse error message, and I got this: Code:
usb 1-4: new high speed USB device using address 7 usb 1-4: device not accepting address 7, error -71 So, is there more I can do, or is it just "broken" now? |
