IFP-799 Memory upgrade
Hello,
I have broken ifp-799 with good flash chip, and one good working ifp-799.... As we know, the 799 on mainboard, are two places for flash chips, but only one are in use. If I solder second chip, maybe it works...., and we get 2Gb?!) Any ideas?

I would say, no offence, that the most likely outcome is you'd end up with two broken ifp-799s.
When trying to solder on the second chip, it's more than likely the heat would damage the player and leave it inoperable. Even if it didn't, who says it would work with two chips in? Would the firmware support it?
