UMS written in assembly?
In light of the limitations of the new ums for the ifp, I recall some time back that someone had written a UMS for linux users on the ifp 100 series before UMS was available. Does anyone know if the firmware was written in assembly? Is it different than PC-IBM assembly? I may follow in his footsteps (if I can) to do the same if Iriver doesn't take off this limitation of recording quality. Any info to point me in the right direction will be good. Thanks
