IFP-390T flash-memory upgrade 256MB>>>?

My first thread ever to this forum, just registered...
Just filled my ifp-390 with new songs, and really felt that ran out of memory too soon.
HAS ANYONE EXPERIENCE ON UPGRADING THE FLASH CHIP OF IFP:s TO A BIGGER ONE?
I´m sure somebody has tried or even done this.
If yes, which chip (mfr / type...) would do the trick?
If yes, how big flash I can fit to IFP-390?
Does the firmware recognize the bigger flash? It seems that ifp´s from 340 to 395 are using the same firmware, anyway...
Any other experience(s) welcome, since I like this "my first ever gadged-player" bought as a souvenir from South-Korea.
There should be no problem on soldering job, since I have the gear and experience on that.
Thanks in advance!

Do have a look at this other thread - has anyone upgraded their ifp memory?.

I've also been trying to do the same thing, and I believe it's theoretically possible. Unfortunately, it seems like something has happened to the s1mp3.org website, so I've lost the link to a retailer who is selling the needed samsung flash memory chips.

I'll probably look into this again when the site comes back up, and if the retailer is still selling those memory chips.

Thanks for your reply.
Many things are possible, but if they make sense or not -that´s another issue...
This upgrading is not a big deal anyway, but if you find any information still interested
