Thumbs down FM Tuner Problems 899T

I've recently realized that my FM Tuner feature is no longer working. It only picks up static. It worked fine for a year or more but now it doesn't acquire any signal.

I've upgraded to the 1.25 firmware and it worked fine both before and after that upgrade. It's only stopped working in the past two weeks. At first I figured it was due to a weather anomoly but this has been going on long enough that it's got to be my iPF-899T.

Yes I have the headset in the correct jack.

Has anyone else experienced FM tuner problem like this?

I have exactly the same problem: Just static, no matter what frequency. I'm using Fimrware 1.28 E since forever and had no problems with it. Then, 2 months ago, the problem started.

I thought it might be mechanically broken: The antenna connector is connected to the earphones. The constant mechanical strain put on to the phone jack might have damaged something.
