iFP-795 On/Off switch Repair
On/Off button on our iFP-795 stopped working, so I opened up the case and found that the tiny grey/white on/off switch inside has dislodged from the circuit board. After searching and reading the posts, it seems I'm not the first to suffer this problem.
Has anyone been able to successfully solder it back into place ? If so, can you please describe what soldering locations you used. I'm a rookie at electonic repairs of this nature. I'm not sure, first of all, if solder location is on the "top" side of the circuit board that the switch sits on, or whether it's on the "bottom" side of the board. If it is on the "top" side, it appears the solder point might be at the "bottom end" of the switch(furthest away from the on/off button that activates the switch), but again, I'm not sure. Thanks for any help you can provide. ..brasha |

Openning ifp 799 case
It's not difficult to open the case. After you unscrew the 4 screws on its back, it has two "teeth" each one beside the buttons. On the side of the hold switch, tehre are three "teeth". To unlock the "teeth" just slide your nail into the side aperture, you will release the front. Mine is with a problem in the joy button. Can any one help me.
