Firmware upgrade problems...
I upgraded my player (iFP-799) from the base firmware to UMS 1.85 a couple days ago. It was a mistake to do that at 4:30 in the morning,b ecause I ended up with chinese firmware. Now, the iriver music manager won't detect the player, so I can't change the firmware again. Ideas?

you cant use manger if you go to UMS firmware.

you would have to use imm 1.65 I believe.

It's not that I wanted to use the manager, it's just that I didn't know how to upgrade the firmware without it. I have since found a source for that information, so I'll try it now. Thanks.
