@Bondold:
This sounds very interesting, but can you give me a hint how to download the plugin, because I don't mange it to register in the forum the plugin is attached to... My Cyrillic-capabilities are too poor :-/

@Bondold:
thank you, but your link has the same effect as clicking the link in the thread you posted 1st. The forum of "player.ru" does not allow any downloads if not registered. I tried to register, but I absolutely don't know which buttons I have to press... Can you please attach the (zipped) plugin in this thread? Would make it a lot easier

WOW!
Thank you very much, Bondold! I tried the plugin and it works perfect! Now I have a great way (the only way?) to write back MP3 files to the PC if using Windoze and iMM Firmware (like I do

It's very easy (just look at the attached pictures)
1) install TotalCommander 2) copy iplug21.wfx plugin anywhere (e.g. totalcmd/plugins) 3) install plugin within totalcmd 4) in totalcmd, switch to "My Network Places" 5) you'll find [iRiver Storage] which you can use as a standard disc drive now that's it

But to be honest, I didn't use the plugin too excessive. I just copied some songs in both directions to see if it works (and it did). Last weekend I erased my iFP did a new "fillup" (about 160 songs ) using the plugin and everything was fine. No suggestions so far.

First post here, and a thankyou
Hello everyone,
I just recently aquired a few Iriver IFP flash players (190tc & 899), although i have been using and traveling with a SlimX CD player for some years, and my searches for answers on various details brought me to this forum. And what a helpful, friendly seeming place it is! For almost every question i have had, someone, somewhere, has been through it with, not only high precision, but with kindliness and patience also. So i signed up Now, onto a first quiery; The total commander app works well with the 899 i have here - no problems with transfers either way. However, it doesn't seem to like the 190tc. The software recognises the player, views it's contents, and allows placing files onto it's memory, BUT, when i try to copy from player to PC, it will only create 0kb files, correctly named i might add. The firmware version is 1.14 (old i know, it's a second hand player), could that be why this is happening, or is it possible that the 190tc just won't go for it at all, no matter what we do? I'm eager to see if anyone else has seen this before, and what, if anything, they did as a workaround Again, good forum and a good set of folks you have here; thanks for all the help that you never even knew you provided lol |

Plugin works great. I found bug during copying folders with files (files were working good, but had new incorrect names, [version 2.1]), but new versions of plugin work fine
Improvements: (from http://www.totalcmd.net/plugring/IrivIFPPlug.html ) Version 2.2: - copying folders with subfolders was a seriuos bug. It is fixed. - new command is added: exit - one should not close TCommander anymore to turn-off the device safely (using SAFELY DEVICE DISCONNECTION icon at the systray) Version 2.2a: - debug message when creating new folders (when copying folder) has been removed. Version 2.2b: - Pressing Cancel button while moving a folder from player to local FS leads to a silent deletion of the folder. Fixed. - Incorrect Progress window while copying files larger than 42MB (Progress bar goes to 0% instead of 10%). Fixed. - Process calculation algorithm has been optimized. That shall lead to a slight speed increase. |

can please anybody help me?
I very much want to install this plug in, but I have no success yet. When I try to unpack and execute the plug2b file inside TC or explorer it says: ' no program associated with:c:...( file location ) or when I try to open the Winrar archive it says: 'C:..(file location):The archive is either in unknown format or damaged' What am I or my computer missing to install the plug in? |
