IFP 799 FM Radio doesn't Work

Iam sure I remember it working when I first got the player, but lately it doesn't seem to be working at all.
I tried with various different firmwares, 1.25, 1.28, 1.85 etc.
Nothing works. Tuner seems to be searching for stations, but couldn't find any stations.
Any ideas ??

Presumably, the headphones are plugged into the right socket? It's easy to put it into the wrong one ....

MP3 player seems to work, its just the tuner.
Unless the headphones need to go into a different socket for tuner.
