Firmware question for ifp-1XX
I have a ifp-190t, that I bought in Canada. I went to the America site and found that the latest firmware version was 2.05. Then, I went to the international site and found versions 2.10 and 3.06, but it said they were fore ifp-190tc (note the "c")
Which one should I use?

The C firmware supports Chinese language in addition to the others normally found in players. You can use any of the versions will not make a difference.

What about FM?
I heard somewhere that FM frequency differs between them, and so I won't be able to listen to FM radio. Is that true?

In the menu setting you can select the FM tuner and make it compatable with the region in which you live, Should not be a problem. Once you install firmware you can always reinstall another version. In this way if you do not like the new firmware you can laways change back.

sorry off the top of my head I have no memory of why the big skip. You can read through the info on each upgrade without downloading the file. Just go to the iRiver site and click through each upgrade.
