iFP-880: volume up button does not function

Hi everyone,

I have owned an iFP-880 for around 7 months now. All has been great up until today when the volume up button ceased functioning. The other buttons work fine and I really like this unit. I checked around in these forums, but couldn't find a related issue, and there's not much info on Iriver's site. Has anyone else experienced a similar problem? If so, were you able to fix it?

I did send an email to iriver's customer support, but have yet to recieve a response.

Thanks in advance!

Interestingly I had the same problem with my 899 - the joystick "up" got really tricky. I just put up with it for a while and it's more or less gone back to normal - I reckon there was just some dust or something under the contacts. If yours persists I'd send it back...

I have the same problem, the volume up just stops working temporarily, it's working again in a day or two.
