IFp 590-T

After years of use, can the built-in li-on battery of the IFP590-T be replaced?

mystic,
go to the photo gallery here at mistic river and you will see pictures of the battery that is inside the player. To answer your question yes the battery can be replaced providing you can locate one since it is a OEM design. I am sure in time iRiver will make these battries publicly avaliable. Remember this player is new and has only been on the market for a few months. It is very unlikely that there now exists a demend for replacement batteries.

In the future as more units are sold and the players have more run-time on them that will change.

Hope this answers your question.

sdz
