Japanese text iFP-895
In the menu section of my player all of the text is in Japanese/Chinese/Korean etc characters, I've just upgraded to the V1.28 UMS firmware, in all of the other screens, it's in English, it's just the menu screen and sub-folders (The menu that appears when you hold the Menu button, it has pictures of a cube, computer screen, alarm clock etc)

Start up the player
Hold down button to get to the Menu
Go to the first menu choice and select it. (The cube)
Go down one and select it
Choose english
Select it.
Should be fixed.
