SV-i700 Waterproof Case w/iFP-790 Bundle
Im thinking about getting this. Has anybody else used the waterproof case & headphones. How well do they work. I already have an HP120, but I want something to use while surfing. Also, is the 790 player any good? It says it hold 512 mb of music..about how many hours/songs is that?
Thanks. |

Ok, well i checked but couldnt find much information. Most of the posts were from before it was released about when it was coming out and such. If i missed something just let me know. If not...does any body have any information/reviews on it.

SV-i700 waterproof case experience
I bought the H2O audio waterproof case (Amazon $82 w/ no tax, free shipping) along with an iFP799 about a week ago for swimming laps. The case is fine so far, the player is great, but the waterproof headphones are a mess. The grey rubber earpiece is too short and thin to seal. Without a good seal, the sound is somewhere between bad and terrible. And don't bother trying the slicsound replacement earpieces that H2O suggests in the FAQs on their website - they don't fit right on the headphones and don't seal any better than the original.
Determined to make the headphones work anyway, I modified mine. Here's how (2 pictures attached): Cut off the top two tiers of the original rubber earplugs and insert a pair of Shure triple flange sleeves (part # PA755) Bond them together with a bit of gel superglue. The modified headset seals perfectly and works like a charm. I hope this post is helpful to anyone as determined as I was to listen to music while they swim. |

Hi, I'm checking out the waterproof case itself and am almost sold, but have one question - what is the included armband like? I'm don't consider myself a muscleman, but the stock armband that came with my 799 won't fit over my bicep. I'm hoping I'll find the armband included with this case usable.
Thanks in advance |
