IFP-7XX users in CANADA?

Hello,
I am from Montreal, Canada, and I'd like to buy an IFP-790 but I have a couple of qestions:

-do you have the "white noise" problem?
-are you using USB 1.1? if yes, any problems?
-where did you buy your player from?
-how much did you pay for it?

Thank you very much for your answers,
Polo

ps you can e-mail me at cornel_g@yahoo.com

Hi - I just bought the iFP799 on Saturday. No white noise problem with mine - and it CRANKS compared to my Sony minidisc.
I use Usb 2.0 for a transfer rate of 1mb/sec or thereabouts.
I bought mine from Frontier PC (check out their website) for 465.
