Hi,

Maybe it has something to do with the Windows XP SP2 firewall or your own firewall. I have the Dutch Windows XP SP2 version (same as English, only Dutch GUI) and it took a while before LDB Manager started, this because my firewall Norton gave a pop-up for LDB Manager itself and a updater.exe file.
I gave both files access and after that LDB Manager worked ok.
So try some settings in your Windows or other firewall.
