IFP 795 - impossible to power up

A couple of weeks ago I purchased iriver flash player (ifp795). After two days of usage it turned out that it is impossible to switch it on. You can power it up only when you take out the battery and put it in again (such a situation takes place even if the battery is fully charged). What can I do about it?

Lightbulb try the hold button!

Are you sure the hold button is not engaged? If not, contact iriver to get a replacement player. I have an IFP795 and have not had a problem until my brother acccidently broke it. :( hopefully they will give me a new one!
