ifp-799 1.28 and WMP
first I heard that there was an upgrade to enable WMP sync...

Now with 1.28 not working with the iriver software, but doing so as an MSU, can it work with WMP?

Some of us the MSU is important to handle files, not to arrange our music in the player itself...

I assume that MSU=UMS. The 1.28 will not work with the iriver software, as you have found out. The only upgrade you should need to enable WMP sync is an upgrade to WMP10.

I should add that I have 1.28 on my 799 and occasionally use WMP10 to sync some DRM files I bought online. Only way to get them to work on the IFP.
