ifp890 not connected???

Hi, when I plug in my 890 the screen on the unit says it's connected but the User interface on my PC says it's not
I can not drag files or anything

it is USB 1.1 I rwad about a simlar promlem in another thread but it was exactly my problem

My brother used it on his laptop and it worked, but it won't work on my PC

I have a similar problem. I haven't found any solution, yet, except that upgrading firmware made the failure mode a little less drastic. (I.e., now it no longer hangs the system when the copy operation fails.)

Also, in my case, the operation failed on both a Sony Picturebook and a ShuttleX desktop.
