H340 quickly discharging (???)

My H340 apparently discharges its battery fairly quickly. When the battery is freshly charged or the H340 has been used only for a couple of hours and then the unit stays off for - say - two days, the battery is usually empty.

I first thought, it was a dying battery and replaced it, but with a brand new battery the same thing happens. Does anyone have an explanation/fix for that?
