I inskinned my H340 (and some other stuff incl pics!)

Okay so I joined not too long ago but came across so many good things on here that I didn't know my H340 could do or that I could do with it that I decided I had to try it.

I got a new theme and inSkin for the H340. So now it looks like this:

I like the original Iriver design, but blue just isn't really my color. So I cut, blended and brushed it up a bit in PSP.

InSkin:

the back is really simple, just black with the name of the player inside a border, so need for a picture of that.

And I got creative in a totally other way and made my own case for it as well. So the colors of the theme, the InSkin and the case now match It's crochet. lolz So much for being a girl Hence the colors



What do y'all think? Not too bad for my first InSkin I thought. Getting the player to open went pretty well. Only broke one clip full and one got damaged. Thanks to Sanatarium for the awesome pictures: that really made things a lot easier. And also thanks to whoever (sorry I forgot the name) made H3mod. Wonderful stuff on here. I've been telling everyone about this place even people who don't have an Iriver player. ROFL. I'm a dork what can I say .

One more tip: If you want to remove the stickers on the back and there's smudges left rub it in with peanut butter. The oils in the peanut butter will dissolve the sticky stuff. No need for rubbing your fingers sore or have everything stick to it till it eventually goes off. Peanut butter is the key!

Looking good . The inskin looks great, can be difficult to make one that actually looks good.

Awesome job! But, I'm with Denny ... ROCKBOX is totally the way to go! It revitalized my relationship with my H320! On the fly playlist support, customizable themes and while playing screens (you'd have a ball with this with your talent!)... the list goes on and on.
