H300 video

Hi. I hope I haven't posted this in the wrong section...

But anyway, I'll jump right in. About a week or maybe 2 weeks ago, I downloaded iriverter and converted some videos I got off YouTube and put them on my MP4. It was just a few on the first day. And it seemed fine. On the second day, I got some more videos and I started to experience some problems.

Some songs in the Music section wouldn't work anymore. My iRiver would take ages to load them, freeze and then skip them. Some songs only played 'til halfway through and skipped. Also, when I put videos on my iRiver.. the ones I watch straightaway to check if they work, work. But now most of them don't.

Does anyone seem to know why? And has anyone else got the same problems or anything similar?

Thanks.
-V.

Yes, it's in the wrong section, but not to worry

Strange to hear different files are not working....
Doubt it has anything to do with the fact you've put videos on it.

Sounds more like corrupt files than anything else.

Do you have back ups of everything? (Rule number one: Back up everything)

If you do, format your device, and put everything back on.
Or just delete the files that are not working, and put them back on.

Has the player been dropped, or misused in anyway, that could have damaged the harddrive?

Oh. Sorry =]

Thanks for the advice. I'll try replacing the files again. -thumbs up-

I'm not sure. I certainly don't remember misusing it in any way. Maybe my mother dropped it somewhere..
