Amazing little tool, Thanks CyberGuest !!!
Does anybody think we'll ever have the ability to create playlists on the unit itself ? I think being able to do that what would make the IRiver a living legend !!! Thanks once again Cyberguest, the best just got a little bit better |

Hello o wise ones,
I've just downloaded the file and also installed .net Framework 1.1 - however, when I double click on the file, it says it's not a valid Win32 file.... how come? I'm looking forward to using this instead of relying on WinAmp, which I dislike. Thanks!

First wana thank cyberguest for creating this awesome program.
Now, to my question/suggestion: I've noticed that my H340 will not play files in a playlist which have names over 52 characters or are embedded within a folder that has chinese character names. Now, for the second part it says "file not found". I've also noticed that the iRiver will play over 52 char files if you just do a regular shuffle, which is kind weird considering you can't play these in a playlist (I'm on 1.28K btw). What I'm suggesting is, if you can implement a command that will automatically truncate all the file names >52 char to 52 char? This would make things infinitely easier (since I have a lot of these). Also, can you see if you can do something about chinese folder names causing file not found? Thanks for your work!

change firmware i guess...the plalist makes a data playlist, a group a songs put together to form one song, but each song can be read seperatly only on the iriver...at least that exactly what happens on mine...i tried playing it on all 4 of my media players and its just one song

Just my two penny's worth of thanks, but it is a huge thanks.
My only suggestion to the program is tool tips. For example I have recommended this program to a few friends but they may not understand what the options do/are as they have not read this thread. Just little things like "Do Not Add Long File-Names" etc etc. Thanks again. -Mylor

Hi,
I've been using version Iriver playlist 1.2 for a while now for my Iaudio x5L. Yes it works for that also. Anyhow I downloaded versoin 1.3 tonight. I am confirming that for "some" users at least there does seem to be a problem with the File -> Save and Save As options. When selected - nothing happens. Using the Save or Save As buttons do work. Also if you select Open in notepad from the drop down you can also get a save dialog box. I have .NET 1.1 and 2.0 installed. Note version 1.2 doesn't have this problem and still works for me. TIPS for a few I've users posting here. 1. Use the buttons to save 2. For those needing to get rid of the DRIVE letter F: or whatever in your playlists Use the open in notepad option OR save the playlist then just load it into notepad and use the Edit-> Find/Replace option to get rid of F: (place an F: in the find box and nothing in the replace box) that gives you a path of \pathname\song.mp3. Then save the playlist that way. Thanks for the tool. Really appreciate it. |
