where were you drop the files?
(is it a window with text : playlist editor1.2, release date, etc. or a window with a menu on top, and box on the left?) If it's the first case, press Alt+F4, you'll see the program window, then you can disable "Show Splash Page On Startup" in the Options menu. i've seen a weird bug recently with the newly downloaded Framework 1.1. That the splash page does not show the h320 image, thus you can NOT click on it to get to the actual program (except by Alt+F4). i'll get rid of the splash page on startup in the next version. edit: if anyone can confirm that it is a problem with the new Framework 1.1, I'll get it fixed quickly.

Right-click, and then click 'Save-As'. At least, if I'm interpreting you correctly.

hi
I'm having problems with playlists. I've read this thread, dl both the Playlist and .Net and all work ok. I tried creating some small m3u files and I still get the same error I got when I created winamp m3u files when I go to play the playlist - ie playlist error. I'm saving the new m3u files straight to the H320 as per instructions. I've even made sure that the song name is short. One question on that - is it just the song (file) name or the whole extension as seen in the Playlist ? I'm also saving the files from the player into the Playlist as well. Do I need to change the file extensions at all ? ie get rid of the drive name ? if so how do I do that ? can anyone help ? pleaseeeeee ? STP (slowing becoming frustrated.......... ...............) yeah, all files on the same player.
Have tried winamp too................. .. its frustrating know that others can do this so simply and I cant. Another question - when I open the Playlist exe and open one of these m3u files that I've created, I cant see any files in the m3u file...is that normal ? could this be my problem ? if so, any suggestions ? Cheers STP |

You don't see the contents of the playlist, unfortunately.
Also, how are you opening it?? You should be at the 'stand-by' screen (ie the playback screen but when everything is stopped) and just tap A-B once. |

Alright - I'm getting my h340 on

sorry, the message cut sent early -- so im getting my h340 on wednesday, but i'm leaving the next morning for germany so I need to figure this out before then. I download the program on my comp/ I create a folder named playlist editor on the root drive on the h340/ i put the program there and double click it/ then the program opens and I say new playlist/ i drag and drop files from the h340 to the new playlist then when i'm done, I save it (but where do I save the playlist to?)
Was all of that right?

Hi,
It seems to me that this is a great tool, however I cannot get it to work., I've read the entire thread and i cannot figure out how to "open" a playlist. I have created a folder "Playlist" and I have put three playlists in there. I can only see them when I browse, i cannot see them in the music mode. I have tried every possible way of using the A-B button but nothing seems to work, can someone please explain in detail what it might be that I am doing wrong? I really think that this is a killerapp for my 320, so I hope to use it soon. Hope to hear from someone soon. |

try this.
in music mode, stop the music playing, and press A-B button ONCE (do not hold it) if that doesn't work, then check that the file extensions are .m3u

It looks like it is going to work, for the first time I am seeing the playlists. When I want to start them I get an error "Error playlist file" any idea how to solve this? |
