well, it was decision time, Ipod, or iRiver, i just snagged a nice used h320 on ebay for 60 or so bucks, we will see if it was a wise investment. but i really was looking forward to getting a player that was very mod-able, if the 80 gig drop in price i can just jump from 20 to 80 guess.

but i do think i made the right decision between an h10 or a h320 snazzy looks aside.

I like the fact that I've had my h320 for almost three years and it still runs great (battery life is starting to get a little on the short side). I like having an extra audio output jack so I can listen with friends, I like having a built-in mic, and also the ability to record from an inline source.

I used to have rockbox, but after I installed a new iriver firmware update, I never got around to putting rockbox back on. Of course, I really did like rockbox, but I find that the iriver firmware works pretty well too.

I love my darling H340 so much that I questioned marrying it. While it may be old(er) and (arguably) overweight and let's face it... in constant need of AC power, it is still my first and favourite.
I love it's capacity, it's perfect features (I use all of them, and wouldn't delete a thing), the little buzzing sound when it turns on, the deep heavy bass, text, it's comforting weight, how it can run on any computer with no required drivers or software and it's originality - back in a time when pictures, radio, colour and videos were unheard of, this baby was already doing it.
I love that I have dropped it, covered it in glitter and smeared sunscreen on it, and it still keeps going! I can't imagine anything (with the exception of iriver re-starting this model and maybe increasing the capacity) ever coming close to the love I have for this thing!

One of the biggest pros about the H300s is they're so modable!
