Sweet. Got a little package, all the way from Vegas today. And, from what I can tell, I am not a victim of this mysterious 'clicking' problem - which pleases me, as I don't think there is a huge number of iRiver users in my tiny little New Zealand population - so trying to onsell it to somebody would have been difficult.

Now, I guess it's time to download the latest firmware, to stop the main display lighting up. Cheers MisticAudio. My technology thirst is slated for another week or so.

Post How do they connect to the headphones?
My H340's remote tore off its cable two weeks ago (belt got stuck in fridge handle somehow, weird story). So I plan to replace it - replacement not available in Israel, meaning I'll have to order it from abroad anyway.

So now I thought I'd check out the LCD remote and see if I may be better off getting that (quite expensive, but maybe it's worth that). I've seen pictures and read descriptions - two questions remain.
  • Could someone post a picture of the LCD remote's connection to headphones (two pictures actually would be better - one with 'phones plugged in and one without). I read how it connects from the back with the same cable, but would want a picture to see exactly how convenient that would be (considering it belt-clipped...)
  • Could someone post exact physical measurements and weight of the LCD remote itself? That would help...

Unhappy H3XX LCD remotes in the UK
Hey guys - hope Jeff doesn't flame me, but Advancedmp3players are selling the LCD remotes in the UK - £35 ($63) with free delivery - ah, what the hey - I saw the GoogleLink on the MR front page anyway...

Talking excellent stuff!
Jeff I cant thank you enough. ordered my LCD remote last week, and had it in my hot little hands & days later from Vegas to Melbourne, Aust.
And best of all I dont seem to have that clicking bug...although M/Jeff did tell me that the clicking is pretty soft and quiet, so I might have it, just cant hear it.

Great remote anyway

Hey Kruse, where abouts in NZ are you from, Im from Nelson.

how much did your remote cost cause im wanting one but im thinking it will be about $120 shipped thats a little steep when i paid $750 for my h320 last year. plus i dont have a credit card or paypal so i cant get one anyway.

The remote was very lightly used a few times, but I never really used the remote with my player so it is like new. I would ship it to the UK but the shipping would have to be paid by the buyer.

No need to. If it were color I would hop on it. My remote from my old H120 works fine on my H320. If anyone could get thier hands on the I-river H120 remote then they would be able to connect it to the H3XX series with no problems.

Another Request for a Remote
Man, why is this remote so hard to get?

Will anymore be available soon, here? I have seen them selling on ebay, but am confused on the compatiblilty. There appears to be a place in Australia (mStation) selling remotes in sealed package. Says that it is the H120/H140 remote but will also play on the H320/H340. Could this be true?

The remote that was originally packaged with the ihp-100s is not the same as the H300 remote that Jeff sells through MisticAudio.

That said, it does work with the H300s and a lot of people have them...
