Oh shit sorry i thought this was a poll vote, not EBAY Anyways I would love a friggin lcd backlit remote for my refurbished H340, but don't have the moeny for it right now, and I still haven't looked aroudn for the best price yet for a new one. Im sure your mistic audio is competive, but prolly still ripping me off with the S&H surcharges,fees and taxes and all that bs

??? Mine does!

I trashed my H120 and am using my remote with my newly bought H320 (£179 at PCWorld - also part of Dixons group) with no probs.

BTW is there a handy place in the UK to get an adapter to be able to use my H120 charger on my H320, sodding iRiver changed the pin size while keeping everything else the same!!!???!!!

Thumbs up H300 LCD Remotes on the Way!!
Greetings Folks,

Good News! More H300 LCD remotes have been secured! We had to travel the world looking for them but managed to find some in Japan. The price will be a tad higher than before at $69.95US ($7US more) but the same great remote.

As soon as I receive word that they've shipped to me i'll start accepting orders.

Mistic Jeff, what do you charge for postage to Australia for this item?

Sounds like it will be too expensive for us Aussies as the item alone is approx AUD$95. Based on your charges to the UK, we're talking about AUD$130 all up - almost 30 percent of what I paid for the H320 here in Oz. Is a shame that these are in such short international supply - boosting the cost well beyond what it would otherwise be...

Many thanks - at least there's an avenue to get one if you're willing to part with that sort of dosh.

I'm happy with the H100 remote with the exception of one big thing: The headphone socket. Could somebody post up a pic of the headphone jack area of the H300 remote?

Shipping to Oz is about the same as the U.K.
Wish I could get them to you all cheaper but it's just darn hard to get them in the first place.

It is when they sell for about £20 in Japan - iRiver should just sell them in the West.

I'm using a H1x0 series remote I bought on eBay for £30 which works very well. Would prefer the navigation on the H300 series remote but can't justify that price since it would be a third of the price I paid for the H320 in the first place.

First time posting, and need to say Thank You for all useful information on this board.

I used taopaipai's link, and ordered from "directfromjapan ".
I do not speak french so it was kind of a headache to find out from this page how to order, but I managed within 15 minutes. I used my net-bank for payment, as all details regarding IBAN etc was available on their website.

The price for the remote was Euro 49,33 (oanda converter USD 60,50), then added for shipping, the TOTAL COST came to Euro 63,23 (USD 77). This to Oslo/Norway.

I placed the order on June 28, and received them today, July 9.

Just tested them, no clicking, so I am very happy, thrilled.

Next step is to find better earplugs, although I am happy with the Sennheiser's that came with the player. This since it is to noisy when on board aeroplanes.

Can someone please, please, please tell me if this remote will positively work with IMP 550?

Yeh me too! I paid US$5.50 on ebay for a sealed H100 series remote...

Can anyone explain any real advantages with the new H300 series remote over the old remote? I mean in terms of functions, unless I'm missing something it just ssems to have a toggle stick thing... which doesn't impress me much at all (makes no difference to me).

What other stuff does it do that makes it worth paying so much for? (rather than buying the old remote).
