I actually figured it out!! See, you go to the song you want to que next, and then you toggle to the A-B. It'll pop back to the currently playing song, but it actually ques that song to play next. Enjoy

Ok, this ones easy, yes you can stack up one song to play next (sadly not a train of them , but its still very useful)

Simply hit the bottom rocker switch to the A-B side when a song is selected in the navigator. If you have done it correctly then you will be thrown back to the now playing screen.

Here are some other controls that might help people:
A-B in now playing screen does exactly what it says on the tin.
A-B in the navigator stacks that song to play next.
Hold A-B on now playing to change the EQ, once the EQ is selected tap A-B until you get to the EQ setting you want.

Mode in the now playing screen changes your playing mode. e.g. Shuffle, Repeat
Hold Mode to get the function screen. e.g. Music, Radio, Record

+/-10 only works when in the now playing screen and skips 10 tracks forwards or backwards.

Hold down stop (the square for real noobs) to turn the whole player off and recieve a nice message from iRiver.

Hold down play (the triangle with two line following) to boot the player up when off.

Finally, press down the joystick in the centre (not center damnit!!) to enter navigation mode and select a track to listen to.

Hi Guys (Jeff)

I've been tracking on USPS and it said that my package cleared Australian customs 4-5 days ago. Any idea how long it should be taking? Or if I should be getting further messages on the USPS tracking website?

I e-mailed www.advancedmp3players.co.uk about the availability of the H300 remote and they said:

Hi,

We are waiting on iRiver confirming the situation with this remote so at the present time we are unsure.

Kind Regards,

Thumbs up

Hi Curtis

Did you track yours? How long was it between being cleared by Customs and when it arrived?

It's all good! I just got an update from the USPS track & confirm. It has:
Quote:
Your item arrived at the delivery Post Office in AUSTRALIA at 9:01 am on May 06, 2005.
My mum's coming up from Brisbane (where I got it delivered) to my place (in Toowoomba) on Sunday for Mother's Day, so I should get it then. w00t!

Peace
Woody

I tried tracking mine but the system simply told me that I had not purchased tracking for the parcel. Meh...customs time was negligible to non-existent and it took about 5 days from confirmation of shipping to arriving at my workplace. No clicking either, as far as I can tell (and I'm usually a picky bastard).

as far as i am aware, they havent got released here because of issue's they have had in Korea with them being faulty, etc.

Think i'm gonna wait for a bit to they get released here before buying a "could be" dodgy peice of equitment..

Some of the H300s 'click' when used with an LCD remote - it's not the remote, it's the player itself.

So it really doesn't matter whether or not they choose top release them outside of Korea/Japan (not that they ever will, Korea is their largest market after all) - some of the players are always gonna click.

And I can say with absolute certainty that there's nothing 'dodgy' about the remotes.

So, basically, if you ever want one of these, MisticAudio is probably your only chance.

Have to disagree with you Step666,just because it's player dependent, and not remote dependent, doesn't mean they can't alter the electronics on the remote to comply with the shortcomings of the player, again I'm no electronics expert, but it would seem very possible that they could do that. Also you saying they will never release it abroad because Korea is their largest market doesn't mean anything,or else they wouldn't release the players in other markets either.IMO they would be dumb not to,they would be missing out on a chance to make a few extra bucks that way, because they know their is a market for the remote. Then again you could be right, what do I know what Iriver is thinking over there, they do what they feel like.

You'd think so.
But, for all we know, 'fixing' the remotes so that they don't click with the relatively few players that actually have the problem could render them in some way useless or buggy when used with the vast majority of players that don't currently have any problems.

We just don't know...

Again, that's what you'd think.
But so far there has been no indication they're planning on, or even thinking about, releasing the remotes anywhere wlse.

Yeah.

Hi Jeff & co.

My remote arrived on Friday. I love it. Except... is there a manual? I know its not THAT hard, and I hate having to tell my iPoo-loving friends that iRivers aren't as intuitive as people hope (this is THE biggest reason people don't by them IMHO). Even if someone could make a *sticky* post about the how tos and where fors regarding the H3x0 remote.

Thanks again Jeff - you have a VERY happy customer in the land of Oz.

cheers
Woody

woodstock, read post #123 (further up this page.

It explains a fair amount about the remote.
And if you need to know any more, Cooleo is the guy to ask...

H320 Remote

If I can buy a remote I may pickup the H320 at its new low price? Will there be anymore or is the distribution finished in the USA?

Did the remote drop in price too?

I don't think the remote has dropped in price....

But the H300s haven't been officially discontinued.
