The purpose of this poll was to guage interest and see if it is worth my time and "extreme" effort to order more remotes. Now that over 100 people have voted that they would like to have an LCD Remote I will see if we can again get more. At the point in time when I can get more I will then open up pre-orders at MisticAudio.

I'm not a fan of taking pre-orders when I'm not sure if I can get a product or not. I don't want to have to refund money to disappointed users.

I tried my friend's H120 LCD remote on my H320 and it worked fine. Any reason that it's advertised as not being compatible?

There's no guarantee they are.

And iRiver have said that they're not gonna go outt their way to ensure that they always will be - if a future firmware release renders them all unusable (though there's no obvious reason why it would) then that's just tough.

Ended up buying one and so far I'm pleased with it. I will say it does take some getting used to but I know I will. Only thing I have to complain is that the main screen does not go blank when the remote is in use.

i don't think i'll buy it unless its under $50... its not that i'm greedy, its that i don't have that kind of money for a remote....=_=

i just hope i can go to japan soon.... =D

I've called out a resounding yes. However, (and I know you get this a lot so it must be annoying), could you let me know how much it will cost (approximately) to ship to Australia? At present, we're getting roughly 77c US per AU$1.

If you read Yohan's thread on the remotes, you'll find in it somewhere (probably about 5 pages back now, I would think) a post by someone saying they'd seen 'em for sale in Japan.

Your best bet's gotta be to PM 'em and ask.

And how will it work exactly for the pre-order, if I decide to buy one after seeing the pics?

Hey Jeff.

I am looking to preorder a remote.... But it looks like I can't preorder yet (or again). However, you've been selling some on ebay (and doing quite well with it, I may add!). I can see myself spending the $65 for it, but not $99. Will you save some extras to sell from your store at the normal price, or will all extras go through ebay? Just wondering what my chances are of acquiring one of the remotes for a decent price....
