Camera:

Konica Minolta Dimage Xt
(No Drivers Needed on WinXP)
Memory Card:
SD 16MB - DOES NOT WORK (less than 32MB...)
SD 128MB - WORKS

Memory Stick:

Conrad/RIX "usb stick speeddrive" - 64MB
WORKS

SanDisk "Cruzer Micro" - 128MB
WORKS

Noname ball pen giveaway with usb stick - 16MB
DOES NOT WORK (less than 32MB...)

Memory Stick/MP3-Player:

AIPTEK S-3 - 512MB
WORKS

Well, all in all, this thread leads to the following conclusion:

For USB-OTG compatibility with the H3xx an USB device needs to:

1. Use the Mass-Storage-Device protocoll (No need for drivers on Win XP)
2. Have 32MB or more.

Good new!!!

Camera test:

Olympus mju Mini S 5MP (not the 4MP)
512MB XD card

WORKS

I havent tried the 4MP one which has exactly the same design with this! But I think it could work cuz they only have 1 difference. It's the megapixel.

Hello to all

I've got a Sony DSC P10 digicam and it was impossible to have it talk with my H-340 on host connector.

I bought a SANDISK SDDR-107 mobilemate (memory stick card reader) and it works fine on host connector of my H-340. I use 128 and 256Mb cards. Did not try with less than 128Mb.

Send a message via MSN to Ramsaye
Camera: Fuji FinePix 610
256MB XDCard
Plug and Play on XP
Works on H340 Intl version

Also tested Fuji Finepix E550
512mb XD card
Works fine

16mb card DOES NOT WORK

this was to be expected as from scanning this thread it appears that many have found that <=16mb does not work whereas >16mb will work.

Thx so much for the info and list - I am using a US H320 model that has not had a firmware upgrade, a Kodak DX 7630 camera, san disc SD 256mb card, XP operating system. I am also able to capture short MPeg files with this camera. I am not interested in the firmware upgrade if I can avoid it.
Any info you might be able to provide would be great.

Test done with H340 EU version, 1.28k firmware

Camera Test:

Camera: Sony DSC-U20
(OS: XP Pro SP2, no Camera drivers installed)
Comments: Does NOT work with H340. Camera power light comes on when plugged into H340 but Device menu item doesn't appear, and MemoryStick card contents not accessible (Lexar 128MB MS).

Card Reader tests (tested with 128MB Lexar Memory Stick):

Model: Crucial USB2 CTR6ACPU2.D0 Multi Card High Speed Reader (this model no longer sold by Crucial)
Comments: Does not work with H340. Device powers up, Memory Stick lights up, 'Plug in Please Wait' appears on H340. After several seconds the access light on the Crucial card reader goes orange. Nothing further happens.

Model: Jessops 12-in-1 Universal Card Reader
Comments: Does not work with H340. 'Plug In Please Wait' appears, nothing further happens (i.e. Device menu does not appear).

Last edited by timread : June 19th, 2005 at 03:09 AM. Reason: to clarify my H340 is the EU version

Comments:
Was bought on ebay. I'm pretty sure this is the same one - http://www.mittoni.com.au/catalog/pr...reviews_id/130
If in doubt then search by the Model No given above
I assumed from the above that this card reader does work. Anyone thinking of buying one should be wary. The model number is now CR-T2-U2M and this does NOT work with the H340

Test done with H340 EU version, 1.28k firmware

Card Reader test (using 128MB Lexar MS):

Model: "Belkin Hi-Speed USB 2.0 Media Reader & Writer for Memory Stick" F5U247 (this model is a single slot reader, compatible with MS/MS Pro/MS Duo/MS Pro Duo/MS Magic Gate/MS Magic Gate Duo). See it here: http://tinyurl.com/9ptsh

Comments: Works copying files from Memory stick to H340. Cannot copy files from H340 to MS.
