I think a mod deleted his/her post. Because everytime a non-subscriber of non-mod/admin edits his/her post, the time and date of the edit will be shown at the bottom of the post. Since that's not the case here, and the poster isn't a subscriber, I think he posted some non-MR-compatible stuff, and got his/her post deleted. Am I right mods?

Hi does any of these batteries will be OK for my H320 ?
http://cgi.ebay.com/BATTERY-for-IPOD...QQcmdZViewItem
http://cgi.ebay.com/Battery-for-2200...QQcmdZViewItem
http://cgi.ebay.com/IPOD-1ST-GENERAT...QQcmdZViewItem

Will I have to remove something from my H320 for this battery to fit ?

Thanks in advance

Just did a replacement batt on my H320

Well I notice my batt only lasted about 4 hours, so I thought it was time to replaced it. Anywho I bought one from eBay and it seems to be charging. (cross fingers) For some reason they shipped 2 instead of one even though I only paid for one.

It was a pain in the ass to open the case for me. Double that trying to get the batt connector out and back in again.

To cpuks: The first two seem to be the same ones I bought on eBay and yes you will have to remove one of the blue rubber from the case in order to make the battery fits.

Red face Experience With A Lenmar?

I am about to replace my battery in my U.S. H320 (Flashed to 1.29k) and was
wondering whether to choose the Ionity or this http://www.staples.com/webapp/wcs/st...oductId=135394
(Lenmar PMPIRH1)
It is a Lenmar Replacement Battery for iRiver H110, H120, H140, H320, H340 Mp3 Players and has a 1500 mAh rating.

I actually think the Ionity would work longer due to the 1900mAh rating.

Whatever.

Supply me with ideas if you wish.

I will create a new thread with my results when I have installed it. (More than likely December 28-30)

Removing the molex?

Hi all.

Is there a trick to removing the molex connected to the old battery from the H340? I've tried to pull it out of the socket with a few different pairs of tweezers and with a pair of electronic forceps that I bought from Radio Shack and so far, nothing's worked. I'm a little worried about tugging too hard on it, and neither out (ie, toward the edge of the iRiver) nor up seem to work at all.

If anyone's got a suggestion i'd love to hear it - my h340 has been sitting in pieces for the last two days.

Its hard to pull out. Here's what worked for me:

Flip the device over, molex side facing down, and you'll see just the base of the molex from the other side and the wires coming out from it. Use a fine flathead screwdriver and push the base of the molex (as opposed to trying to pull it from the opposite side. Once it is loose, then you can pull it from the other side again. Hope it works.

BTW, I just replaced my 320's battery with this:

Sunn Battery
Manufacturers Part #: UP325385A4H
Voltage: 3.7V

Capacity: 2200 mAh
Chemistry: Li-Polymer
Size of Battery
(L x W x H) : 1.875'' x 1.125'' x 0.1875''
47.625 mm x 28.575mm x 4.7625mm

Has anyone tried this one (made by Sunn)? Got it off ebay for $13 plus shipping.

When I installed the battery, it was not tight at all. I did not have to remove anything. The blue pads just have to be carefully replaced so that the edges aren't curled under anywhere. I do not have any tests , and I don't think I'll be able to do a rigidly controlled one. I will tell you that I used it today set on volume 15, connect through "line out" to a stereo, playing from a playlist with songs of varying sampling rates and minimal LCD activations with zero bars left after only 8 hrs of playing, although the device did not shut off yet. So, not as dramatic battery results as others posted.

I'm considering replacing my battery as well, can someone give pictures and a guide to doing this. 'Using a screwdriver to life the tabs' is a bit general.

Im going to sound such a n00b here, Im sitting here reading all this and Im trying to keep track of what people are saying, and whats apparent is that there isnt one definitive battery that people believe is the best. Plus there isnt a battery change guide which many people have been in dire need of, and which I will probbly be in need of come January. I need to get a new battery as well, so Im waiting for dapstore to get them in and gonna order it then.
Well, for the record and if someone could reply quickly will any of these do?

think I stuffed it.
I replaced the battery in my h340 with the gen 1/2 ipo battery, and left it on to charge.
had a few problem doing it due to stupidity, but I think I got it right in the end.
The problem is that it doesn't work.
I put it on to charge and left it for 3
