Sango's Icon Package
New Icons are here Baby

Tutorial:

• Copy wanted icon and autorun file to players root directory
• Open autorun file and rename “H300#” to the file name of wanted icon
• Save autorun file.
• Remove and Reconnect player to computer
• Enjoy your new icon

H300E was orginaly created by lotech.
All other icons were compiled/created
by Sango of misticriver.

Okay, EaglesMan81 (nice name btw)
When you plug in your H3xx into the USB, you get the default white removable hard drive icon represent the H3xx in My Computer.
So people wanted to change that plain old icon into one that was actually a picture of hte H3xx.
By placing the icon and the autorun in the ROOT directory,
you achieve replacing the old plain removable drive icon into an actual picture of the H3xx (or anything other if you wish).

Nothing against Sango or anything
but I'm quite fed up of people randomly giving icons one by one.
So I have compiled icons for ALL the iriver products (except the CD players of course).
Take a look. (※All icons in this package are 48x48 - 256.)

thanks sango. like having the icon, but mostly like having the window popup when i connect instead of having to click on a drive icon on the desktop. now have that icon changed as well.


now is there a way to have the removable drive icon in the systray look like my h320 as well?

You could probably pull that off with a registry hack, I know it is possible to hide all drive letters from my computer and explorer, you can even add your own folders to my computer.

Hey could you make a high quality version of those icons, Sango? I use Yz Dock, and a high quality icon for my iriver would be great. Oh by the way nice avatar the webcomic that it's from is very good!

I created this H300 icon some time ago:


It suits very well the LaST (cobalt) icon set (here)

Yo can download here my icon (XP version, all resolutions from 16x16 to 128x128

cheers! and i thought i was the only one who took his digi-cam, made some pics and then some icons:

note that there are total 15 icons in that file: 3 different bit-depths (32bit, 8bit, 4bit) in 5 different sizes (128x128, 96x96, 48x48, 32x32 and 16x16) so that it'll still look slick in longhorn Also the smaller ones are hand-pixeld to have it still recognizeable in 16x16.

Hi i have modified one of Sangos Icons in order to create icon without that awfull white area all around, in my icons it is transparent, sou you can use them even on black desktop without disturbing white frame (just have a look at the bottom)
There are two versions of Icon H300D, one with shadow and another without...



first one in black area is my modified icon, the second is Sangos original...

thanks guys, great icons. a long time ago i created a version that loads a custom H300 icon in Mac OSX (file '.VolumeIcon.icns' placed it in your player root folder) if anyone cares to get it, shoot me a mail.
