Also note that there are a number of Number sets in there somewhere that I have yet to find.

For example, the set that shows what the current position and length of the current playing song are. I can't find them!

Also, I can't be sure, my player is connected atm, but I think the indicator of how much free space in the filetree navigation screen. Allthough they could very well be the same set.

If you can survive a few more days, I'll probably publish a version with
better font support on sunday. It will save the complete font in one
gif file, that you can then edit and import. I've got it basically working,
but need to smooth a few edges. You'll get to work on images like the,
attached Latin 12x16 example, with red guidelines for the letter
boundaries.

Gimme a break man! I said Sunday, and it's only Wednesday now. Had familiy
business over the weekend. Do you know what an amazing precision it is to
deliver only one week late in the software business?

If it helps you to bear the grief, the new version will allow you to
exchange a font for Times New Roman. After I wrote it couldn't be done,
I thought: hmm, is it really that difficult... No dates from now on, but it
already does all it should and I mainly have to test and update the help file.

Easiest way to get photoshop to save as 256 colours...

Goto File > Save for Web

Then select gif on the right and you can change the amount of colours there

I just found something out about those missing fonts.

They aren't fonts at all. They are actual images. I found this out because of what happens when you have transparent pixels on a screen such as the battery charging screen when your Background.gif isn't white.

What happens is, the color from the background bleeds through onto the white. The numbers that appear on the top of the screen on the bar had the black bleedthrough from my black background.

Will that help in finding them?

Lightbulb

I recently went to one of the many local art supply shops here where I live and I found a felt like sticky paper, so I decided to skin my H320 myself. Not too bad of a job for my first time skinning something. I recommened that if you don't want to pay online, or if your like me and don't own a credit card, just make it yourself. If you need any advice just let me know. Click the link below to see my work. Oh, and let me know what you think!

Like I said.. I'm new at this. I'd try to reskin the software, but in my opinion it's not worth turning my H320 into a paper-weight. As for what I did for the outside, all I did was cover it in a soft fabric that was sticky on the back. I wish I knew the name of the material, but I don't yet speak Korean.. hehe.

MP3, WMA, ASF, OGG, IRM, same as the Audio types supported by iriver. They
seem to use a fish as their icon, see http://www.vorbis.com/

Short answer: 1.29 has added/changed some things, such as the Video icon. You will need to find the bookmarks for the 'bits' that need fixing.

There is a new version of H3mod coming (or is it out yet? I haven't checked) that will have the new bookmarks included. If you're not comfortable modding the skin yourself, you'll have to find someone who will do it for you. Maybe you can sweet talk the skin author to update it.

EDIT: OK, I checked, and the new H3mod 2.2 is out, with advice on updating old skins. Check this link.

I'm searching for a thread that suggested a good liquid to take of the printing on the cases without damaging the plastic on the casing.

Anyone knows where it is now ?

Btw, good job on the reorganisation on the forum. It's more nicer
