hey,

Personally, I think I may make *new* PS templates that are actually geared to be the *actual print size* for the player. Gasp! Innovative, right? The H3Tool rocks and is really precise, but it doesn't support the back of the player. If I could get someone to host the PS files, I might be willing to churn something out... Eh? Eeeeeh?

Is anyone doing the back template? I cant wait!

I would really like to see a back template in H3tools, just like everybody else. Mainly because it's quick and easy. Photoshop is awesome but i like the convenience of H3tools.

Okay, so using Ant's front template I made a rear one for the H340. I put both of them in the same GIF so that it's easier to design both front and back at the same time.
Right click, 'Save As' http://www.automotivetech.org/photop...front_back.gif

I created my own Photoshop template file to make the design and preview of the front & back images easier before importing them into H3Tool. All you do is stick your 834x1330 (size recommended by H3Tool) or larger image on the bottom layer and make either the "front" or "back" layer set visible to mask out the shape. Then it's easy to move around and adjust the image as needed, to fit around the screen & buttons, and within the edge flaps.
I stole a few of the images from the other template posted by saab_rider for the buttons and such.. hope that's alright. Anyhow, I made this for me, but hopefully other people will find it useful too Download it here |

i also had problem getting some of these in skins to print so that they were just right. used h3 tools and just resizing started running trials on my laser printer before using the oso dear ink and photopaper.ended up just loading seperate images of my choice(those i pinched, credit to those with more talent than me)H3tool's worked a treat doing this now i have a little collection of saved inskins thumbs up!used a great maori design off the history never repeats album cover by the band split enz a new zealand band(containing the brothers finn who went on to gain fame with the more melodic crowded house)looks just fantastic (may upload a picture in time )teamed with obey back matches great!interested find album cover the spiral koru will knock your socks off!
counting crows hard candy looks mighty fine and found good high quality png images in stardocks objectdock that i had downloaded off there site great winamp lightning bolts, cheeky clone sheep, limwire limes to napster pussys! love my H320 modded with obey and sometime winamp pirate theme, koren firmware1.28 all thanks to this misticriver/contains 1500+mp3's 4 movies, itchey and scratchey, trippen the rift, music videos listening to fat freddys drop,a perfect circle and anything that i can twitch to!cheers.cyber - |

Hey, quick question, i cut out just some paper for a front and it looks fine, but i guess my glass or plastic front is shaded in because the paper was white but my cover is grey, is it all H340 or just mine? Just wondering because of your really white picture.

Finished my InSkin
Hello.
This is my first post here, so I'm really new to this, but I saw the InSKin idea here and I thank Sanitaruim for it because I really didn't like the original design. So I thought I'd try. It was a nervewrecking thing to do, seeing that I'm so worried of braking my player, especially in the back which was glued on. But it came out good. Here are some pictures. Thanks all of you! |
