the oldschool walkman thing

I dont own an iRiver yet, and I've been looking at the nifty stuff people here have been making and had an idea:

couldnt you make your old school walkman a dock, in addition to a carrying case?!

Like run the USB cable through the bottom?

If you get a big enough old walkman then yes, the WM-B52 walkman I turned into an iRiver iHP-140 case is only just big enough to fit the player in with the remote plug and enough padding for protection, putting power & USB plugs in is pushing it with that one.

I saw this site a few weeks ago, I think it's similar to your idea. Cool oldschool idea.

Cheers!

I made my ghetto dock out of cardboard, duct tape, and a "coastered" CD-R
