H10 - 20gb Audio Line Out
Hello,
I am wondering if anyone knows if there may be a difference in sound quality from what would be the data cable line-out connections used if one has a cradle dock vs. the signal quality of the head phone jack at the top of the unit. I don't have a dock to compare the two with or I would. The sound from the unit is plenty good through head phones, but when plugged into a good stereo, there is room for improvement so I would look into making a "Line-Out" connector using an extra H10 data cable if there is better sound available. I read somewhere, but I can't find it again, about the line-out signal not being influenced by any tone controls of volume which makes me think it may be of better audio quality than the head phone signal. Also, and this may be the wrong place, but the head phone jack seems to reside along with the mic and the remote control jack on a separate little sub-board inside the H10. Does this maybe imply that the "output" (?) amp is also on this board, if anyone may know? Thanks |
