HELP NEEDED - Determining Firmware version on a friends 5GB H10 UMS V 1.00

When I do the reset trick on her H10 (listed above) I see UMS V 1.00, but when I start EasyH10 and look in the model and location section, there is no V 1.00 listed. How can I determine the correct firmware version for this player?

it looks like the firmware was never updated, update it then try EasyH10 (assuming the UMS V 1.00 was at the bottom of the settings menu, not on the boot screen. if it was the boot screen look on the settings menu)

DOH!!!! I was looking on the boot screen. I forgot that all of the player info can be found in the settings menu (HECK! I never go into settings, so I forgot it even existed!!!). Thanks for the help.

And it turns out that it is the MTP 2.03 version of the firmware.

Not only have you managed to dig up a thread that was 6 months old, but you've managed to repeat an answer that was already given...

Top postage there!
