a problem with my h10

it is a 6gb, usa versioin MTP.

problem : it just happened today (few days ago, been working fine).

when i try to select my music i wanted to listen on my h10 (just when i press ok to the song I selected), it suddenly freezes, and i cant turn it off with the power button (has the clock icon in the middle), i have to detach the battery itself to turn off the device. also when i press in on one of my folders "Music", it also freezes WITHOUT the clock in the middle.

also, maybe i accidently took out the usb when it was just finished transfering the song into my h10, which was then after that , it start to not work.

is there a way to reformat my h10? or a quick solution to get it working again?

thanks for your time

H10 MTP models can be "tricked" into UMS mode by holding the O button down while booting the player up with the player connected to your computer. Hold the O button down until the words "EMERGENCY CONNECT" appear at the top of the screen, it should show the USB connected screen shortly after that and be accessable as a hard drive on your PC.

Given the nature of your problem I'd suggest doing a full format and reinstalling the firmware with the firmware updater application to ensure all bugs are worked out.

No problem at all, my good man... *bows half-heartedly and chuckles a bit* now if you'll excuse me, I have other topics to lurk around...

if you didn't already reformat, using EasyH10 will solve your problem a lot simpler and quicker than a reformat
