H10 20GB Stuck at "USB Connected Screen"

Hello all,

So my mp3 player got the dreaded "System files missing" message a few days ago. I went to the site and downloaded the firmware updater so I could install it.

However my H10 won't let me restart it in Mass Storage Mode. I reset my player, connect it to the computer, and then hold the "o" button while I power it on. It hits the "Emergency Connection" screen for an instant and then immediately goes to the "USB Connected " screen. From here I can't do anything. I can't format the drive or have the updater recognize the player's drive. It seems like my computer knows something is connected to the usb port but since the player itself is frozen it won't let me do anything to the drive.

When it hits this "USB Connected" screen I can't even turn off the player. If I disconnect it from the computer it's still stuck on the screen. The only way to undo it is to reset it. But powering on after that only results in the "System files missing" screen.

Does anyone have any idea why my player is getting stuck at this screen? I can't seem to use my computer to help at all because of it. Anytime it's hook up to my computer the usb screen comes on and won't go away. What should I do?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
