H10 problem

I erased a bunch of music files from my H10 by deleting the file after double clicking on the H10 icon and navigating to the music rather than using Windows media player to delete the music. The actual files are gone and I have the free disc space, but when I browse through the music on the H10 player it says it is still there. When I click on it to listen to it (it's REM), it is not playing anything because the files are not there. How can get the player to no longer show these selections or How can I just clear all the music off the player.

Or use the database refresh feature (if your player has it).

remember that the database is a simple file that says which files are where. When you have a MTP device, the db will automatically update, unless you deleted the files in "EMERGENCY CONNECT" If you have ums you could use easyh10.

Go to SETTINGS --> Extra --> DataBase Refresh (scroll down the list), select 'Yes' and the titles of the songs you erased will disappear (as the songs already are).

Best, alphatel
