Help me use EasyH10

I've searched for this, but all I find is a lot of "use EasyH10" and that's about it.

I can get my H10 player into UMS mode, no trouble there.

I can drag-n-drop folders full of MP3's in what appears to be the right place, with all the other music, no problem.

I ran EasyH10 and let it do its thing with all the default settings. That was fast enough, then the player took quite a while to initialize. Howevah, I still can't see the music I dropped into the player.

What steps am I missing? BTW, my firmware is 1.10, and this is an MTP player. I don't do playlists. Anything else that's relevant to what I'm doing? Do the mp3's have to be certain bitrates? Can I drop WAVs in there?

Re: Firmware...at boot it says 1.10, but now I see that the display shows Firmware v.2.51 PFD. Maybe I'm using the wrong setting in Easy H10. Try it again, and................. ..waiting for it to initialize.......... .............is five minutes too long??.............. ............I'm getting dizzy watching that thing spin around.............. ............I hear a beer calling me from my refrigerator at home................ ......ahh, there it is. NOPE, still can't see the music I dropped. Hm.

1.10 is the bootloader, 2.51 is the firmware. i think your are using the wrong setting in EasyH10 as the spinning clock does the same thing as EasyH10. also, please don't double post (use the Edit button)

The answer seems to be to make the folders hidden once they're on the H10. None of the EasyH10 settings changes seems to make it work quite right.

Still, much better than using WMP.
