Shuffle isn't shuffling....

Have an H10 20GB and the latest firmware, 2.51.

My problem is the shuffle isn't working properly and I get a lot of repeating. Also, when I click on any specific song to play, the player just chooses any song it wants.

Any clues, hints, fixes???

I emailed support. They stated their is no firmware fix coming down the pike and their answer is to re-format the player in hopes that this will fix the issue. Bullcrap, that is a lot of time and effort re-formatting and then getting a boatload of songs back on in the "hopes" of fixing it.

Not sure why a company is pissing off its customers by not fixing an issue that drives folks crazy. If taking a poll I would probably answer with a 2 if I would ever buy from iriver again, ten being the best.

just a note, iriver's current flash players are much better than the H10. in fact most people here would probably say the H10 is iriver's worst player.

I will never find out because I won't buy again from a company that doesn't support its products. Now my frigging battery won't hold a charge. Starts to crap out after one hour of playing.

Just so you know, you will find battery problems with any electronic device after awhile.
