System files missing

Hi everyone,

well, I got a little problem with my h10 5g. I installed rockbox some months ago and anything was going fine.

But when I turned it on today it suddenly said "system files missing" . That was a little strange because I didn't change anything.

Ok, then I thought "no problem, just delete rockbox and install anything again".
BUT when I connected the h10 it said "usb connected" but I didnt see the device in the windows explorer Oo.

How should I delete the rockbox folder when I can't see the folder?!?!

Can anybody please tell me what to do??

Okami

Sounds like your iriver itself is starting to die, how old is it? could be harddrive failure.

NOOOO T_T

I bought it about 1 1/2 years ago.
Now that you mentioned it, when I turn it on the harddrive makes strange noises.

So what should I do?? Should I send it to the Iriver store so they can fix it or should I consider buying a new mp3 player?

So if you didnt change anything... i would say this is the well known bug of the irriver DAP... Take a look at the H10 forum here... There are lots of threads discussing that. This really doesnt seem to be a rockbox case...

Good luck
